North York Moors

A very wet and windy week spent in north Yorkshire was hard work from a wildlife photographic point of view. There were a few moments though to get out and see the odd thing or two. If anyone knows the species of ammonite would be very grateful if you could let me know email robin@harlequinpictures.co.uk. Thanks.

When taking photos of the Red Grouse I altered the shutter speed while in shutter priority. It was only later that I noticed that instead of photographing RAW files the settings on the Canon 1DX had changed to small jpegs. I have had this happen once before with this camera. Normally you have to press menu and scroll down to alter this setting. Anyone know if there's some kind of short-cut that does the same? Want to try and avoid it happening in the future. Thanks.
