Iceland...again.

Holiday in Iceland had a few surpises including this colour ringed Gyr. It was rung as a male nestling in June 2015. It looked so big I thought it might be a female at the time!

A very wet and windy week spent in north Yorkshire was hard work from a wildlife photographic point of view. There were a few moments though to get out and see the odd thing or two. When taking photos of the Red Grouse I altered the shutter speed while in shutter priority. It was only later that I noticed that instead of photographing RAW files the settings on the Canon 1DX had changed to small jpegs. I have had this happen once before with this camera. Normally you have to press menu and scroll down to alter this setting. Anyone know if there's some kind of short-cut that does the same? Want to try and avoid it happening in the future. Thanks.
